Our Story

Local, Craft, Legacy.

In 2008, two college roommates, Josh and Chase, opened their first store on M-61 in Standish. They grew their own flower in a Michigan greenhouse, named it Green Mitten Pharms, and refused to sell anything they couldn't stand behind. Eighteen years later, they still run the place, and you can still find them behind the counter on any given Saturday.

Do I need a medical card to shop at Highway Dispos?

No. Both Highway Dispos stores are licensed adult-use retailers. You must be 21 or older with a valid government-issued ID. We do not require a medical card.

What is the fastest way to order for pickup?

Order online through our menu, choose your store, and we will have it ready in 15 minutes or less. In Standish, pull up to the drive-through window at the north side of the building. In Au Gres, walk in and head to the express pickup counter.

I am driving up I-75, do I have to stop at a rest stop to buy cannabis?

No. Highway Dispos Standish is 60 seconds off I-75 at Exit 188, open every day from 9am to 9pm. You do not need a medical card, and Michigan adult-use cannabis is legal for anyone 21 or older with a valid ID. Please do not open or use cannabis in your vehicle.

Does Highway Dispos have senior-friendly products?

Yes. Our Sunrise Coast Relief line is built around low-dose edibles (2.5mg to 5mg), topicals, tinctures, and sleep gummies. Our budtenders are trained to help first-time and senior customers choose the right product for sleep, arthritis pain, or relaxation, without overwhelming vocabulary.
